Be Selfless, Trustworthy, and Reliable
Strengthening the relationship of sorority members living in a sorority house truly means being rooted in sisterhood and actively practicing:
● Selflessness.- Living in a house with other sorority sisters, means being aware of the needs and the space of others. Practicing selflessness is as easy as ensuring you don’t hog the bathroom when you know there are three other sisters waiting to use it.
● Inclusivity. Being mindful that everyone has a chance to be a part of managing the house ensures everyone has buy-in. A great way to practice inclusivity is by creating house rules together.
● Strength. Perform community service together during one time of the month to reflect the strength you all have together when you work together.
● Trustworthiness. Building trust starts with open communication. Whether good or bad, it is essential to create a safe space in the house where open dialogue can take place.
● Enthusiasm. Living together is a chance to create memories, so always seek to create memories together with enthusiasm.
● Reliability. When you live together, leaning on each other means being there for every moment that counts.
● Honesty. Practicing honesty starts with holding yourself and each other accountable.
● Openness.- Ensuring that everyone has a voice ensures that the house remains open to change and new ideas to encourage the sorority house to remain close-knitted.
● Optimistic. The best way to negate negativity overwhelming a house with tons of personalities is by remaining positive and being intentional.
● Diversity. Embrace the talents and individual characteristics that each sister brings to the house. This is how balance is achieved; when we embrace the strengths of each other, we unconsciously minimize our weaknesses as we lean on each other.

Sisters Can Connect and Bond
A sorority house strengthens the relationship between its members by providing a place where sisters can connect and share experiences. Sororities also provide a forum for sisters to learn about themselves and each other, and to build relationships that will last a lifetime.
Sorority sisters often become best friends because they share a common bond. In Greek life, sisters support and encourage each other, and they offer support and encouragement when times are tough. Sororities also provide a place where sisters can learn about leadership and how to manage their time and resources.
The benefits of belonging to a sorority are numerous, and they are especially valuable to women who are looking for support and friendship. Whether you are a new member or have been a member for years, the sisterhood at your sorority house is an important part of your life.
