Provided a Network Of Opportunities
In addition to gaining an unbreakable bond with my brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi, the Divine 9 has afforded me a network of opportunities in ways that I could never have imagined.
During my time at Texas Tech University, I had a strong interest in graphics, which then evolved into an LLC — a vision that Kappa helped me cultivate. The Divine 9 recognized my talent and gave me a platform to showcase my skills in graphics, photography, video, and eventually DJ-ing.
Today, I am fortunate enough to travel the world as a global DJ and utilize the skills I learned from my undergrad experience to build my brand’s visual identity.
Since moving to Seattle, I have been fortunate enough to connect with amazing people [that are] a part of the Divine 9. This has resulted in even more opportunities and stages that were once foreign to me.
Joining the Divine 9 has exceeded my expectations far beyond what I signed up for.

These organizations have aided me in my leadership development. I was surrounded by leaders from various backgrounds and perspectives.
Being a part of organizations provided me with a platform for sharing my thoughts on business leadership while also inspiring communities. In this time of social turmoil, this unique point of view is particularly powerful.
As I gain experience in leadership and managing different teams, I hope to use what I've learned from these organizations in my personal and professional life and to serve my larger community.
